Offspring of our stallion Zapatero VDL were successful this weekend in the finals of the 5 year old Young Jumper Championships in the USA.
Das Mooi Man (Zapatero VDL x Indoctro) and Jason Mc Ardle became Champion of the 5-year olds of the Western League in Del Mar, California. Diorado VDL (Indorado x Corland), ridden by Jill Prieto, placed 5th. Both horses were sold by the VDL stud as a young horse.

Dillandra (Zapatero VDL x Sheraton), ridden by Devin Ryan, became Champion of the 5-year old jumpers of the Eastern League in Bridgehampton, New York. In this last Championship two more VDL Stud related horses were placed: Dexter (Wittinger x Heartbreaker), ridden by Michael Hughes placed 3rd and VDL Du Pleasure K (Ultimo x Fly High), ridden by Candice King, placed 8th. VDL Du Pleasure K was sold in the WEF Sport Horse auction in Wellington this year.

In the Championship for 6-year olds Chapeau (Indoctro x Ramiro) placed 6th with Ronan McGuigan and Jus II (Navarone x Nimmerdor) placed 10th with Roberto Teran.
