Blue Hors Don Olymbrio and his rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen ended the Danish dressage championships just a half point from the podium on fourth place.
After the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special Daniel choses to ride Don Olymbrio in the Freestyle to Music, because on second place in the provisional standings they had a chance to win a medal.
With Blue Hors Zack Daniel was placed 7th in the Grand Prix (71.100%) and 7th in the Grand Prix Special (72.745%) as well in the Championships.
The only 9-year-old Blue Hors Don Olymbrio (Jazz x Ferro) and Daniel delivered a technically difficult well ridden freestyle that because of a few mistakes was rewarded with 75.425%. This meant that Daniel and Don Olymbrio ended the championships with 222.23 – just a half-point from a medal.
A superb performance of the young and promising combination. In the Grand Prix on Thursday Daniel and Don Olymbrio were placed 4th with a score of 72.06. In the Grand Prix Special they did even better with the runner-up position and a wonderful score of 74.754 percent.
Because of this outstanding performance Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Don Olymbrio are selected to represent Denmark in the CDIO5* Nations Cup coming week in Aachen.
The Danish Championships were very successful for Blue Hors. After the first two days we had three combinations in the top ten: Blue Hors Don Olymbrio on second, Blue Hors Zack on six and Allan Grøn with the 12 year old Wasabi (Welt Hit IV x Lancer) on tenth place. With a nice Freestyle Allan and Wasabi advanced to place eight in the final standings.
