Now that son Niels Bulthuis works for Edwin Smits for a couple of months, father Peter Bulthuis has taken over the Lupicor son Freebird (ds.Paqo Fontaines) from him. With the KWPN gelding, previously ridden by Albert Voorn, Peter jumped double clear in the 1.45m Grand Prix of CSI2* San Remo. It resulted in the third prize.
