New combinations out and about

Apr 17, 2012

Some new combinations have been out and about competing this weekend. At the CSI3* show in Hardelot, France, Michel Robert rode Zeta de Hus (Zandor Z x Atlantus) – Kevin Staut’s former ride – with one time fault in Thursday’s 1.35 class. In Friday’s 1.40 class Michel and Zeta were clear, and they repeated this in Sunday’s 1.45 class were they were placed ninth.

Patrice Delaveau took out his new ride Quenndal de Lojou (Le Tot de Semilly x Galoubet A). On Thursday this new pair was second in the 1.35 class after a double clear round. Patrice was also second with Lacrimoso *HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle) in Friday’s 1.40 class – a horse previously ridden by Katharina Offel, and purchased by Haras des Coudrettes in late January.

Sisley de la Tour Vidal (Ogano Sitte x Calvaro) – up until recently competed by Penelope Leprevost – was showed by Nicolas Delmotte who was double clear on the stallion in Thursday’s 1.35 class. Nicolas also rode Sisley in Sunday’s Grand Prix, but carried quite a few faults there.

At the three star show in Neuendorf, Switzerland, Steve Guerdat rode his new partner Chips in two 1.35 classes; one of the rounds included only two time faults. This new combination was also placed in a 1.40 class after two clear rounds.
