Edwina Tops-Alexander and Cevo Itot du Chateau have been the first to be selected for the Australian equestrian team for the Olympics in London. Edwina is based in Holland and is currently placed tenth on the Rolex World ranking and is the leading female rider in the world.
"It's a great feeling to have been selected for the team," said Tops-Alexander to Equestrian Australia. "It has been a great start to the year and I'm really looking forward to London."
Edwina was placed tenth at the Olympic Games in Beijing with her fantastic little chestnut Cevo Itot du Chateau. "I think going to Beijing with the same horse that I have now means I have a lot more experience up my sleeve. The only thing that is strange is that it doesn't seem like so long ago that I was riding in Beijing. The time just gets by so fast and my horse feels better now than he did four years ago."
