On Wednesday, May 30th, the final presentation of the 70-day spring performance test took place in the beautiful indoor hall of the Driehoekhoeve equestrian center in Stegeren.
Chairman of the Stallion Selection Committees for dressage and jumping, Arie Hamoen: “Today was a nice conclusion to a well-run test. We were able to work well over the 70 days and award good scores. The eight jumpers we approved are complete horses yet sufficiently varied. We also approved four nice dressage horses.”
The best jumper of the performance test was the Vigaro son El Salvador, who earned 9's for form, scope, and jumping talent. He even scored a 9.5 for reflexes. Among the dressage horses, the highest scores were for Everdale (s.Lord Leatherdale), who likewise received multiple 9's on his protocol. In his case, the 9's were for the walk, canter, rideability, and attitude.
