Popular home wins in St. Gallen

Martin Fuchs and Pius Schwizer took two popular home wins in St. Gallen today.Ahead of the home crowds Martin Fuchs won the 1.40 class on Karin II CH after a double clear round. A little further behind on the time in the jump-off was Cian O’Connor on D’Avincis Pride and then followed Ramzy Al Duhami on Vivaldi T.

The 1.45 class went to Pius Schwizer and Graciella. This was a table C class, and Pius was both fast and clear on the 8 year old mare and left Penelope Leprevost on Oscar des Fontaines behind him in second. Third place went to Michael Whitaker on Ingliston Twister.

Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum won the 1.50 class on Cantano. The German rider was clear and by far the fastest in the jump-off on 36.07 seconds. Rene Tebbel followed in second on Cooper with the time 40.13. The last double clear of the day came from Niels Bruynseels aboard Castelino van de Helle, and this was good enough for third place.
