Roger Yves Bost took a popular home win

Roger Yves Bost took a popular home win in the Grand Prix Tropicana in Fontainebleau, France. Aboard Nippon d’Elle (Scherif d’Elle) Bosty had one of only two clears among the almost fifty riders in the first round. In the second round he recorded a very uncharacteristic time penalty, but after Bosty’s demonstration the first time around it was good enough to take the win home. Belgium’s Jerome Guery ended second on Waldo (Darco), ahead of French rider Franck Schillewaert on Marquis de la Lande *HDC (Quito de Baussy) in third. The two latter riders both had four faults in the first round, and were clear in the second.
