Dutch Olympic trio nominated

At the CHIO5* Rotterdam the Dutch won de Nations Cup. This made teamcoach Sjef Janssen decide to nominate twofold Olympic gold medallist Anky van Grunsven and Salinero and Edward Gal and Glock's Undercover in the team, while Adelinde Cornelissen who missed both selection trials will have to show she and Jerich Parzival are fit to compete in a national show in Ermelo next week to secure her team place. Cornelissen missed both the Dutch championships and Rotterdam as she prefers after the WC Final to have her own schedule training towards the London Olympics.

Just like the German and British, the Dutch are able to send a fourth pair to compete individually. In or after CHIO Aachen Sjef Janssen will make up his mind between Imke Schellekens-Bartels and Hunter Douglas Toots and Patrick van der Meer and his former world champion Uzzo. Patrick van der Meer had a very fortunate Rotterdam-experience as he won both tests CDI3* Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special, judged by the same group of judges as the CDIO Grand Prix.
