Switzerland: Equipe for London Announced

Swiss national coach Urs Grünig has named his team for the London Olympics. The nominated riders are:

Clarissa Crotta with West Side van Meerputhoeve,
Steve Guerdat with Nino des Buissonnets, Nasa or Carpalo,
Werner Muff with Kiamon and
Pius Schwizer with Carlina IV or Verdi III.

Paul Estermann with Castlefield Eclipse is the reserve combination.

Paul Estermann, Steve Guerdat, Werner Muff and Pius Schwizer (as well as Janika Sprunger as fifth rider) will participate at the CHIO Aachen. Clarissa Crotta will also compete in Falsterbo. London will be the first Olympic Games for Clarissa Crotta and Werner Muff. It is Paul Estermann’s first time that he belongs to the Swiss jumping team.
