Four candidates for one Olympic Belgian ticket

Jul 1, 2012

For the first time in history the Belgian dressage team took a medal in a nations cup. At the Dutch show CHIO Rotterdam the Belgian equipe came third and all riders got a 70+% score. The Belgian Olympic Commitee requires a score of minimum 70% to go to the Olympics.

Before Rotterdam it was just Belgian champion Jeroen Devroe (Apollo van het Vijverhof) who was a candidate for London. After Rotterdam there are three more riders who got the scores they need. 71,872% - Claudia Fassaert (Donnerfee), 71,362% - Vicky Smits (Daianira vd Helle) and 71,043% - Philippe Jorissen (Le Beau). So the Belgian federation and the Belgian Olympic Commitee will have to make a difficult decision.
