Deveraux and Sanneke Rothenberger win, with 73.684 per cent ahead of Annabel Frenzen and Cristobal, in the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation, the U25-Tour, the Intermediaire II for young talented riders.
“It is incredible riding here,“ said Sanneke Rothenberger, who triumphed in the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation with the 11-year-old De Niro/Rohdiamant son, Deveraux OLD. She was awarded the winning score of 73.684 percent and was ranked first by each and every one of the judges. “I am totally satisfied with my Devi, he went very well here. It was the first time I rode without a whip and it went super,” the 19-year-old explained. In total she has won the German Championship title five times as a Pony Rider, Junior and Young Rider; she has collected team and individual gold at European Championships thirteen times. Sanneke lives with her parents at the Erlenhof Stud, near Frankfurt. The Rothenbergers discovered Deveraux in 2007, after he won the World Championships of the Young Dressage Horses as a six-year-old.
Second place also went to Germany: Like Rothenberger, Annabel Frenzen, the 21-year-old from Krefeld also comes from a riding family. She and her 13 year-old Holsteiner gelding, Cristobal, achieved a score of 71 percent. Third place went to the Dutch rider, Lotje Schoots, with Equitop Torricelli LS (69.342 percent).
