Dressage riders lose Olympic appeals

Jul 11, 2012

Two dressage riders have lost appeals to the Court of Arbitration for Sport this week.

Australian rider Hayley Beresford (Belissimo M) appealed after she was named as reserve for Greenwich rather than a team member.

And the Dominican Republic Equestrian Federation and rider Yvonne Losos de Muñiz (Liebling II)  also appealed after Brazil’s Luiza Tavares de Almeida was chosen as Latin American individual representative at the Olympics.

Both appeals were dismissed.
