Changes on the Swiss Olympic team

Jul 13, 2012

The Swiss Federation for Equestrian Sports’ Selection Committee for showjumping has made a change on their Olympic team. Paul Estermann who originally was selected as a reserve rider, has received a place on the team together with Steve Guerdat, Werner Muff and Pius Schwizer. The change was made after Estermann has produced some extraordinary results over the past weeks; last weekend Estermann and Castlefield Eclipse were double clear in the Nations Cup in Aachen, and in the Nations Cup in Rotterdam a few weeks ago he managed to do exactly the same. Estermann and Castlefield Eclipse were also double clear for the Swiss team in Rome.

This means that Clarissa Crotta, who was originally included in the team, is now reserve.
