Gold for Dana van Lierop and Cathrine Dufour

The Dutch European champion Freestyle Ponies 2011 Dana van Lierop was invincible at this year's European Championships for Juniors, held at the beautiful venue of the Silvia Iklé Academy in Berne, Switzerland. After she already won the team Gold medal and the Individual Gold at the Juniors division, she also took the individual gold medal in the Freestyle Competition. With DJ Tiesto, a horse that was trained and developed by her mother Nicolette van Leeuwen from the early start at the age of four, she scored an incredible 81,150% in a ride that was very harmonious and without mistakes. Germany was also successful in the Junior Freestyle Competition: Vivian Scheve and Vivien Niemann reversed order. with Bellheim winning the individual bronze yesterday now won the Freestyle Silver (78 350%), while Vivien Niemann with Wirsol's Cipollini winning the individual silver yesterday, now won the Freestyle Bronze (78.250%).

The Caprimond-son already was very consistent and shining a year before at the EC in Herning, this year again no rider and horse could come close. The Freestyle score of the pair came up to an amazing 84,925%.
The winner of last week's U25-competition in Aachen German Sanneke Rothenberger now missed a Freestyle medal because of some tensed moments with her horse Wolke Sieben. Her compatriot Charlott-Maria Schürmann reached for the individual silver now with her Breitling-son Burlington with a well ridden harmonious test. Florine Kienbaum surprised with another almost fautless performance with many highlights.
