Belgian rider Ludo Philippaerts took first place in the 1.40 class at the San Patrignano CSI on Tauber VH Kapelhof, a horse by his own amazing Darco, with a double clear and a jump off time of 22.84". Another Belgian, Francois Mathy Jr, already a winner in the first class of the day, this time rode a double clear and 23.08" on Polinska des Isles, a gelding by Diamant de Semilly.
Third place went to Italian Forest Guard Corps member Emanuele Gaudiano, who last year rode to victory in the Vincenzo Muccioli Challenge Grand Priz on Chicago 84. On this occasion, Gaudiano rode Uppercut DS, a Bwp by Nonstop to two clear rounds and a jump off time of 24.06.
