The German Equestrian Federation has reported that Monica Theodorescu‘s partner Whisper is ill and is unable to serve as reserve horse for the German Olympic Dressage Team. Hence, the gelding is being replaced by the 12-year-old Hanoverian D'Agostino. Other members of the German team are Helen Langehanenberg with Damon Hill NRW, Dorothee Schneider with Diva Royal and Kristina Sprehe with Desperados. Germany also has one rider competing as an individual at the Olympics and that is Anabel Balkenhol riding Dablino.
