Held at the stunning, and highly visible, new Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) the Pryde's EasiFeed Brisbane CDI 2012 has been a fabulous success.
There were too many fantastic moments to go into all of them but some of the highlights were the CDI -W Grand Prix and the CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle.
The ‘Dressage State of Origin’ in the Australian Sports Commission CDI-W Grand Prix was won by Heath Ryan riding Regardez Moi from NSW while Caroline Wagner riding Tango V from Victoria gave the chaps a run for their money coming second. David Shoobridge on 00 Seven came third and the Queenslanders Tor Van Den Berge riding Fisherman’s Friend and Sheridyn Ashwood on Prestige VDL came a competitive fourth and fifth respectively. NSW rider Jeremy Janjic on Django of Cacharel in sixth place demonstrated the sheer quality that made the final rankings a hard fought contest.
Saturday evening and the Pryde’s EasiFeed CDI-W Freestyle highlighted the elegant and classical riding of David Shoobridge on 00 Seven who is new to this level. David won the competition but was strongly challenged by Heath Ryan on Regardez Moi in second and Tor Van Den Berge on Fishermans’ Friend in third.
