Charmeur (Florencio out of Trendy elite pref by Jazz, breeder: H. van Helvoirt of Rosmalen), registered to N.F. Witte and Tamerus Beheer BV proved unbeatable. After receiving 10's from the judging panel this afternoon for the trot, canter, and carriage & elasticity, test rider Eva Möller also awarded him a 10. During her ride on Charmeur, Möller said: “Today, I'm only riding special horses here, but this one is very special!” Spectators applauded her for her good presentation of the impressive stallion, and Möller indicated that she would like to take Charmeur home to Germany.The other two horses in the competition each received a 9 from the very talented test rider.
As a result, Duval’s Capri Sonne JR (Rhodium out of Wendela ster by San Remo, breeder: R. van Steijn of Wapse), who captured the bronze medal at the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, kept his second place position. The KWPN stallion Decor Cachet L (Jazz out of Jirondine keur pref prest by Ferro, breeder: J. Lamers of Oss, r/p: Decor Son of Breugel) maintained his third place standing in the final.
The best gelding of the competition was Casper (Westpoint out of Lindalie keur pref by Goodtimes, breeder: P.A.J. Rops of Breda), registered to L. Beukers of Numansdorp, who ended seventh; and the best mare was Charisma (Painted Black out of Tamaria L stb by Contango, breeder: J. Weijers of Beuningen, r/p: T.H.M. Derks of Zeeland and K. Kelders of Elshout), the tenth place finisher. Sixth place was for the KWPN stallion Connaisseur (Con Amore out of Donna Clara by Donnerhall, breeder: F. Schulte-Landwehr of Suddendorf, r/p: A. Valk of Gorinchem and Sara Pocok of Canada), while eighth place was for another KWPN-approved stallion: Chippendale (Lord Leatherdale out of Ti Amo elite sport-dres by Negro, breeder: Van Olst Horses and Wenmoon Stables BV of Den Hout).
