Nino des Buissonnets on top of the WBFSH ranking

Nino des Buissonnets (Kannan x Narcos II) has entered first place on the FEI WBFSH World Ranking Listand has taken over the number one spot from Cristallo with an 82 points lead. The eleven year old Selle Francais gelding has more than deserved his position as he is the reigning Olympic Champion together with his rider Steve Guerdat.

Last month’s number one Cristallo (Caretino x Cicero) is currently number two on the ranking, 25 points ahead of Casall La Silla (Caretino x Lavall I). They are followed by several other amazing horses with Big Star, Carlina, Tripple X and Flexible on the following places. Nick Skelton has no less than two horses among top ten with Big Star as number four and Carlo 273 as number nine. The ranking include validated results from 01/10/2011 to 31/07/2012.

The Holsteiner Verband is still rank one on the studbook ranking. Cristallo, Casall La Silla, Carlina (Carvallo x Landgraf I) and Carlo (Contender x Cascavelle) are the studbook's best representatives. The Holsteiner Verband has a total of 6695 points. Just like last month KWPN follows in rank two; with Big Star (Quick Star x Nimmerdor), VDL Groep Verdi (Quidam de Revel x Landgraf I) and Viking (Jacomar x Almox Prints J) as their best representatives. The KWPN studbook has a total of 6252 points.. The Selle Francais studbook is back in rank three with 5542 points and has pushed BWP back to rank four at 5395 points.
