The owners of Ideal de la Loge explain their decision

Sep 6, 2012

The owners of Ideal de la Loge have responded and explainedtheir choice in regards to the split between the stallion and its long-time rider Roger-Yves Bost. In a statement released on grandprix-replay.com the owners say that the decision to remove the horse from Bost was made following a disagreement over the management of Ideal de la Loge's career. The owners state that over the past ten months, Ideal went to shows five times and when he was expected to participate in Hamburg, Aachen, Calgary and soon Rio de Janeiro his place was given to other horses in Bost's string.

Despite sixteen years of cooperation, the owners are of the opinion that communication and trust was significantly deteriorated after the arrival of the Forbes and d'Elle-horses in Bost's stable. After a period of reflection they did a thorough vet-check on the horse and as Ideal was found to be in a state of exceptional health for his age, the owners decided to give him to Olivier Robert.
