New combinations out and about

Sep 21, 2012

Many new combinations are out and about this weekend! Carinjo*HDC and Patrice Delaveau are competing at the Global Champions Tour this weekend in Vienna. This new pair was clear and placed in yesterday’s 1.45 class, and Friday they proved they are a couple to watch when they won the 1.45 class after just spending about a month together. Talk about fitting each other like a hand in a glove.

Rosalia La Silla is also competing in the two star classes in Vienna with her new rider Bassem Hassan Mohammed, and the pair had one down in yesterday’s 1.40 class. Friday they went all the way to the top though, and won the 2* 1.40 class. A fantastic achievement at their second show together!

In the same class, Marco Kutscher’s former ride Satisfaction FRH could be seen with his new rider Emil Hallundbæk. The two did great, and had only one time penalty to finish ninth – a great result for this young Danish rider. American rider Saer Coulter is riding her newly acquired stallion Don V.H.P.Z at the same show.

The most exciting new combination this weekend is Sergio Alvares Moya and Carlo 273. This new pair is competing at the CSIO5* in Barcelona, and rode a clear round in Thursday’s first 5* class in Barcelona. As did Igor Kawiak who has partnered up with Jos Lansink’s former ride Prestige de Lannay. In today’s accumulator class, Sergio and Carlo were clear again and ended as number 14th. Emilie Martinsen is also partnering up with her new ride Carlos V.H.P.Z at the same show.
