Third victory of Garmendia winning the medium tour

Jesus Garmendia scored his third victory in the CSIO Barcelona after winning the Estrella Damm Trophy –table C-, opening competition of the second day. The Spanish rider, with Calvaro's Konzert, set the fastest time. Only one hundredth second behind classified the young Swedish Angelica Augustsson, riding No one so Cool, while the British Robert Smith, on Balourado was third.
The Italian Lucia Vizzini won the Coca-Cola Trophy, accumulator against the clock, second competition of the day. On Loro Piana Lismeen Lancer and starting last, she performed a fantastic course. Second place went to Frenchman Philippe Rozier, with Akita, and third place to the Italian Juan Carlos Garcia, riding Vituccio.
