The consolation classes of the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championship took place at Zangersheide today. For the seven year old horses it was Belgium’s Jos Verloy that won aboard Farfelu de la Pomme (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Darco) with the fastest clear round in this 1.35 class stopping the clock at 58.99 seconds. Second place went to French rider Loup Briffaut on Ravel de Pantomime (Elan de la Cour Sf) on 60.57 seconds, while Giovanni Consorti from Italy was third on Indor GP (Indorado x Ahorn).

The six year olds faced a 1.30 track, and it was Norbert Schuman that won on Cassiana (Cassinus x Come on) with a clear round and the time of 66.71. Berrenger Oudin was second on the French bred mare Sibellixe (Indoctro x Voltaire), with Toni Hassman behind him in third aboard the Holsteiner stallion Empaer PKZ (Ephebe For Ever x Contender).

A Belgian combination went to the top for the five year olds; Valentijn de Bock on Homer de Reve (Nabab de Reve x Heartbreaker). They were clear with a time on 68.53 seconds. Dutch rider Siebe Kramer was second on the KWPN gelding Chesney (Indoctro x Kannan). Third place went to Italian rider Paolo Adamo Zuvadelli on Milestorm (Storm x Animo).
