Wathelet wins in Oslo

Oct 12, 2012

Gregory Wathelet was unbeatable in the 1.40 speed class at Kingsland Oslo Horse Show on Friday. The Belgian rider was first to go out of the 56 riders, and was incredibly fast on Banda de Hus (Argentinus x Lefevre) – leading the class from start to finish. Nobody could catch up with his time of 48.26 – although many tried to cut corners and speed up around the ten fence track. Closest came Rodrigo Pessoa on the super speedy HH Palouchin (Baloubet du Rouet x Chin Chin), who stopped the clock on 48.55 – just fractions behind Gregory. Dermott Lennon ended third after a fast round on Hallmark Elite (Lord Byron Z x Renville) on 49.88.
