Royne and Alexander Zetterman’s lovely horse Isaac has passed away at the age of sixteen. The Swedish bred gelding has been very successful under first Royne and then Alexander Zetterman. Together with Royne, Isaac won the Falsterbo Grand Prix in 2008, and he was Alexander’s ride in his first World Cup qualifier ever in Gothenburg in 2010. Last year Isaac was sold to a Norwegian junior rider where he spent his last year.
Alexander Zetterman has stated the following on his facebook page;
“It is with big sorrow we say goodbye to Isaac who has done so much for us. I wish I could have seen him one last time, it feels unreal. The memories are countless and I want to thank everyone that helped me and Isaac during my years with Isaac, they were unforgettable. R.I.P, Isaac.”
