Luciana Diniz and Bluebuster took home Saturday's biggest class in Verona. The SNAI Small Grand Prix was a 1.50 class with a jump-off, and 37 riders lined up to compete for the win. Only three riders were clear in the first round. Jur Vrieling with KM Wish cleared the course, but was a bit too slow and got stuck with a time fault. But with only three riders ending on a zero score it was good enough for fourth place for the Dutch rider.
Jessica Kürten aboard API Largo was first to go in the jump-off, but it didn't go the way Jessica had planned and she ended the course with eight faults. Luciana Diniz was next to go with the fantastic Bluebuster. The faster Luciana rode, the higher Bluebuster jumped and the full speed to the last oxer was no problem for the chestnut.
Last to go was the home crowd favorite Juan Carlos Garcia on Prince de la Mare. He really did his best to go faster than Luciana, but the second last fence stopped his way to victory when the pole fell.
Marco Kutscher and Cornet's Cristallo got their second ribbon at the show; they ended fifth with four faults. Number six was Ludger Beerbaum and the small, but really promising, Zinedine.
