Championat von Wien to Daniel Deusser

Nov 13, 2012

The CSI 5* Championat von Wien on Sunday evening had 48 riders competing and seventeen went on to the jump-off. The fastest one proved to be Daniel Deusser and the nine year old Cornet Obolensky son Cornet d’Amour. The horse did a brilliant job and showed some real quality. The German rider, now based with Stephex Stables in Belgium, could bring home 10000 Euro for his win as well as some pride and glory. Deusser beat runner up Katharina Offel and her ten year old mare Cathleen (Cordobes I x Ramiro’s Son I) by nearly a second. Number three was a rider we have missed the last weeks; Gerco Schröder was back in the ring with Eurocommerce Callahan (Contendro x For Pleasure) and rode two nice clear rounds.

The show in Vienna concludes today with another 1.60 class at 20.15 tonight.
