Ahlmann is the new Mercedes German Master

What fantastic sport the audience in Stuttgart got to see when the Mercedes German Master was decided on Friday evening! Christian Ahlmann is the new Mercedes German Master together with Lorena (Larenco x Romeo).

12 riders qualified for the Mercedes German Master class in Stuttgart, and seven of them went clear. Marcus Ehning with Sabrina (Sandro Boy x Landadel) started off the jump-off and really put pressure on the rest of the riders with his time of 35.00 seconds. Next to go was Ramzy Alduhami with Bayard van de Villa Theresia (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Camus) and also he was clear but more than four seconds slower than Marcus. Mario Stevens, who just got to know on Wednesday morning that he was allowed to ride in Stuttgart, rode Little Pezi (Lord Pezi x Aldatus) for a clear round in 35.42 seconds.

Laura Kraut with Cedric (Chambertin x Carolus) is always dangerous and she almost matched Marcus time with her 35.08 seconds. Pius Schwizer was next to go with the only eight year old Coolgirl (Jungh.n.gek x Polydor) and he was even closer to Marcus' time as he ended the course in 35.01 seconds.

The very speedy Patrice Delaveau and Ornella Mail HDC (Lando x Alligator Fontaine) had to see a fence fall on his way to the finish line.

Then it was time for Christian Ahlmann with Lorena and they did what no one thought was possible. With some amazing turns they shaved off more than two seconds of Marcus' time! Christian and Lorena ended the course in unbelievable 32.97 seconds.

Rodrigo Pessoa and HH Rebozo (Tlaloc La Silla x Ramiro Z) was last to go, but with one down Rodrigo had no chance of winning and had to settle for eight place.
