Olympic horse Donnerfee injured

Belgian dressage rider Claudia Fassaert has made her Olympic début last summer with her 12-year-old mare Donnerfee (by De Niro). Yesterday she mentioned on Facebook that Donnerfee sustained an injury, so that she has to cancel her participation at forthcoming horse shows.

‘During the training she hit herself against her coronet. This means I can’t compete her at the shows in Stockholm and London. When she is fit again, I will train for the World Cup shows in 2013.’
