Allen Bertram wins the 1.45 m CSI 2* competition

For the day’s final competition, the CSI 2* riders battled it out on a 1.45 metre course. Out of a field of 45 pairs, just twelve managed to produce clear rounds. The quickest of the riders was young Irishman Allen Bertram, a pupil of his compatriot Billy Twomey, who clinched victory with Molly Malone V. France’s Cédric Hurel riding Nikel de Presle was second, with American Charlotte Jacobs and Promised Land in third place.
