Ryan takes out Pacific League FEI WC Dressage Final

Dec 10, 2012

Rozzie Ryan and GV Bullwinkle won the Grand Prix Freestyle of the Pacific League FEI World Cup Final to make it two wins from two starts since returning to Australia after spending most of 2012 competing overseas.

Rozzie and Bullwinkle were the only combination to break the 70 percent mark scoring 70.275%.

The top three positions remained unchanged from Friday’s Grand Prix with Maree Tomkinson and Diamantina IV taking out second with a score of 68.700% and David Shoobridge and OO Seven finishing in third with a score of 68.550%.

Rozzie and GV Bullwinkle have now earned the right to represent Australia at the 2013 World Cup Final in Goteborg, Sweden.

Amanda Shoobridge has a very good start to the show and continued her success winning the Intermediate I Freestyle with her mount Ferrero Rocher.

The evening session began with the CDN Grand Prix Freestyle sponsored by Equestrian Victoria. With a number of promising young horses in this class, Odiana K ridden by Haley Gilbert was the eventual winner. This combination was also awarded the Jones and Berkley award presented by Phoebe and Jane Jones of Jones for the highest placed Victorian in the CDN Grand Prix Freestyle.
