New Zealand: New horse for Mark Todd

Dec 12, 2012

The Kiwi eventer Mark Todd acquired the 9-year-old Cortaflex Up ‘N’ Go from Heelan Tompkins as reported on stuff.co.nz. The purchase price is supposed to be a six figure sum. Zara Philipps from Great Britain had also expressed her interest in Cortaflex Up ’N‘, as she had been in New Zealand a while ago to look for eventing horses.

Heelan Tompkins sold her half of the gelding, whereas the other half remained with Pip McCarroll from Wellington. Cortaflex Up ‘N’ Go came to the stable of Kiwi rider Heelan Tompkins at the age of four and was ridden by her until now.
