Ahlmann went home with top prize in the GP of Hessen

In Frankfurt it was world number one Christian Ahlmann that went home with the top prize in the Grand Prix of Hessen. Aboard the super speedy mare Lorena III (Larenco x Romeo), Christian produced the fastest of eight double clears – crossing the finish line in the jump-off at 36.65 seconds. Jur Vrieling and VDL Bubalu (Baloubet du Rouet x Nimmerdor) ended second with the time of 37.68 seconds, while Amy Graham finished third on another Baloubet du Rouet-offspring – Bella Baloubet.
