Delaveau won the "Golden Drum" in Basel

Patrice Delaveau and Lacrimoso 3 HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle) won the Golden Drum (Die Goldene Trommel von Basel) Thursday evening in Basel. It was a 1.55 m class with jump-off and as many as 18 riders cleared the first round.

Second place went to Scott Brash with Hello Sanctos (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Nabab de Reve) and third place to Marc Houtzager who keeps up his good form with Sterrehof's Tamino (Numero Uno x Farmer).

Earlier on Thursday Hans-Dieter Dreher won the 1.40 class with Constantin B (Contendro x Espri) ahead of Richard Spooner and Billy Bianca (Vechta x Iroko) in second and Paul Estermann with Naiade d'Auvers (Cumano x Grand Veneur) in third place.

Ben Maher won the 1.45 m class with Aristo Z by Andiamo. Maikel van der Vleuten was second with VDL Groep Eureka (Chin Chin x Quidam de Revel) and Hans-Dieter Dreher was third with Colore (Contender x Lord).
