Ahlmann captures Preis des Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois

World number one Christian Ahlmann took home the Preis des Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel tonight. Aboard Asca Z (Askari x Carthago Z), Christian took his second win in Basel. The sympathetic German rider stopped the clock at 33.54 seconds, and left second place to Patrice Delaveau and Lacrimoso 3 HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle) at 33.60 seconds in the jump-off. Third place belonged to in-form Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Uppity (Guidam x Epilot).

Pius Schwizer and Ulysse (Nonstop x Jus de Pomme) won the 1.45 class today. Billy Bianca (Vechta x Iroko) and Richard Spooner finished second, ahead of home rider Beat Mändli on Una Traviatta (Contender x Lys de Darmen).
