As last to go in the jump-off, Dutch rider Henk van de Pol made it a home win in Sunday’s 1.45 class.The P but it was Henk and the superfast and charming Chesterfield that took home the top prize after a jump-off round that was ridden without any breaks. The home crowds made sure to appreciate Henk’s efforts as he stopped the clockrovincie Noord-Holland Prize had 46 riders lined up to compete for the win, at 31.85 seconds.
Gert-Jan Bruggink made it double Dutch in the top, ending second on Primeval Dejavu (Heartbreaker x Ramiro Z) with the time of 32.70. The two Dutch riders had good company from their team mates in the jump-off, as no less than ten home riders were clear in the first round. Mathijs van Asten secured Holland the third place as well riding Amigo (Coriano x Silvester), while Willem Greve and the lovely stallion Carambole (Cassini I x Concerto II) ended fourth.
