Twister de la Pomme at Ludger Beerbaums yard

Jan 24, 2013

German show-jumper Ludger Beerbaum has become co-owner of Twister de la Pomme (v. Darco). A few weeks ago, Beerbaum and his manager / trainer Thomas Stiller saw Twister and became interested.

The six year old stallion was bred from a very interesting dam-line. He has competed in stallion competitions in The Netherlands. Although Twister is at Beerbaums yard for only ten days now, Stiller is already excited: “His bloodlines are very interesting for the German breeders. With Darco, For Pleasure and Jalisco B there are three interesting stallions in a row. And the Jalisco-mare is mother of several international jumpers such as Penelope Leprévosts Mylord Carthago. Twister himself is an athletic horse with good movements. And he is a careful jumper.”

This year Twister will be further trained and educated so that in the year that he becomes seven years old, he can take part in international Youngster classes. “Because of his French passport, he cannot participate in the ‘Bundeschampionat’. Philip Weishauptis probably going to start him at some shows this summer”, says Stiller.
