At a special licensing organized by the Hanoverian Studbook four jumping stallions were approved. The eighteen year old Asti Spumante (s. Argentinus), the nineteen year old Qualdandro (s. Quick Star) and the eight year old Cornet's Prinz (s. Cornet Obolensky), who all showed in successfully in jumping, are available for the Hanoverian breeders now. The fourth approved stallion is the thoroughbred Foxattac (s. Foxiland xx).
The most prominent stallion among the four is, without a doubt, Asti Spumante. With German rider Thomas Mühlbauer the Argentinus-offspring has been successful for years. For example the combination won bronze with the German team at the European Championships in Windsor 2009. Qualdandro and Cornet’s Prinz are successfully shown at S-level in Germany.
The next licensing of the Hanoverian Society is in a few days: thursday fifteen stallions will be shown to the Hanoverian stallion licensing committee. Among them the former KWPN-champion 2009 Bordeaux (s. United), the South German-champion 2011 Belantis (s. Benneton Dream) and the Trakehner champion 2010 Millenium (s. Easy Game).
