24 out of 44 stallions were accepted this morning at the 2013 late licensing of the North-Rhine-Westphalian (NRW) studbook in Münster-Handorf, at this licensing three year and older stallions could be signed up. The Westphalian Licensing Committee approved several prominent stallions like the 2012 ZfdP-champion De Valier (s. Desperados) and the international jumping horses Contact van de Heffinck (s. Concept), For Europe (s. For Pleasure) and Hirtentanz (s. Axis).
The Westphalian Society seems to like the blood of Dutch stallion Ampere (s. Rousseau). At the licensing last fall four of his sons were approved and now another two can breed Westphalian mares. One of the new stallions is Acheron, who made the news last weekend as well when he was approved and given a premium at the South German Licensing. At this licensing in München he was bought for 150.000 euros by Reitsportzentrum Massener Heide. They showed him in Münster-Handorf now.
Furthermore the Westphalian Society approved a total of eight three year olds, eight four year olds, respectively one six year old, seven year old, eight year old, nine year old, ten year old, two twelve year olds and one fifteen year old. Most of the older stallions did a successful stalliontest or are shown at a heigh level in dressage or jumping.
