Cartano wins offspring competition in show jumping

In the Offspring Team Competition, teams of three jumpers by the same sire vied for victory. Among them were Cardento, Cartano, Ustinov, Whitesnake, Ukato, Oklund, Rascin, Untouchable, Up to Date and Vittorio. In the jump-off, the battle was between Chocotoff (s.Rascin), Cote D’Or (s.Cartano), and Bulavso (s.Verdi). Chocotoff accumulated four faults with Bianca Schoenmakers in the saddle, while Cote d’Or kept a clean slate under Anne Martine van Liere. Bulavso, ridden by Mario Wilson Fernandez, also avoided faults but clocked a slightly slower time. As a result, the victory in this first Offspring Team Competition was for Cartano, followed by Verdi. Third place was for Rascin, who will be officially retired from the sport in the Brabanthallen. The offspring of these three stallions were honored at the KWPN Stallion Show powered by Massey Ferguson.
