Most foals for dressage stallion Charmeur
The six year old KWPN-licensed dressage stallion Charmeur has been the most popular with the Dutch breeders. Despite the fact that less mares were covered in 2011, last year the Florencio x Jazz still had 301 foals registered with the Dutch studbook.
From the dressage stallion Johnson (s. Jazz) 202 foals were registered in 2012. One less than that was the count for the show-jumping stallion Spartacus (s. Stakkato).
In the dressage breeding direction Charmeur is followd by Johnson (202 offspring), Apache (199), Bretton Woods (170), Uphill (143), Jazz (100), Chippendale (92), Florencio (86) en Voice (84). Remarkable was the low number of 33 for Vivaldi and for Totilas were last year thirteen offspring registered with the KWPN.
In the showjumping breeding direction Spartacus is followed by Zirocco Blue (184), Eldorado van de Zeshoek (183), Numero Uno (175), Quality Time (161), Indoctro (132), Baltic VDL (106), Namelus R and Crespo VDL (95), Chello III VDL (88) en Verdi (85). For the Olympian London were only 13 offspring registered.
