By winning the final match of the GMB Stallion Competition Don Diablo just secured victory in final of the L-class for stallions born in 2008. With Pieter Keunen on his back, the keen chestnut showed his brilliance by taking out one canter stride on his way to the last jump.
Second in the match as well as the final was Dynamo. Bart Bles rode the talented bay son of Andiamo somewhat calmer to the last fence. He finished the course in 38,37 seconds, nearly one second slower than Don Diablo, which needed only 37,65 seconds.
Third in the competition was Starpower TN. The powerful Stakkato-son had problems with the vertical KWPN-jump, after which the following oxer went down as well. The very keen Durango VDL was very quick off the ground. He was sixth in the final match and fourth in the competition. Fifth was VDL Groep Do Spiritivo, son of Indoctro and the Grand Prix mare Think Twice. Den Ham Blue R was sixth in the competition with Tom Brinkman. They had a pole down in the first round of the final match.
