In the Z-class of the GMB Stallion Competition, Bordeaux took the lead this evening and proved himself the undisputed winner. Under Eva Möller, the handsome United son performed a technically challenging test. “We enjoyed it,” said judging chairman Arie Hamoen, who praised the stallion for his light-footed trot, with a hind leg that stepped well under his body. He earned a 9 for the gait. Bordeaux also received 9's for the canter, overall impression, and conformation. With 8.5's for the walk, carriage, and elasticity, his total score proved unbeatable. Broere Bristol, who showed a lovely front end and a nice consistent connection, placed second under Kirsten Beckers. Third place was for Breezer with Lisanne der Nederlanden.
