Feb 4, 2013

The Belgium PAVO stallion competition last Saturday in Moerzeke was open to stallions of serveral studbooks. Many breeders witnessed that the grey stallion Houston (Heartbreaker x Corofino) won the class of 6 year olds after an exciting jump-off.

Houston was ridden by Ben Schuurmans. He needed exactly one second less to the finish than Quinn van de Heffinck (For Pleasure x Concetto), who came second with Olivier Philippaerts. There were 30 6 year olds to battle it out. In the class for 5 year olds there were six more. Inter PKZ (s.Cooper van de Heffinck) and Koen Gelande won.

Justin van de Zandhoeve (s. Emerald van de Ruytershoeve) was the best of 30 4 year olds with rider John Maly. Denzel van het Meulenhof (s. Marius Claudius) came second with Kurt de Clerq.

The class of seven year olds also had a thrilling jump-off. BWP-stallion Game Boy (Winningmood x Pavarotti van de Helle). He was the last one in the ring with Nicola Philippaerts.
