Six of the seven stallions that were delivered to Randers in Denmark to do their performance test, have finished the 35-days test and are now allowed to breed Danish mares without any limitations. Champion of the jumping stallions was a product from Haras de la Vie in Gent, the Z-stallion Cantor de la Vie (s. Clinton), who collected 817,5 points. The dressage stallions had the Danish bred Adrenalin Firfod (s. Skovens Rafael) as the best scorer with 810 points.
Cantor de la Vie Z won convincing with a 10 for character and an 8 for both canter and jumping. His talent doesn’t come from far away. His family produced several international show-jumping horses like his full brother Consul de la Vie.
The winning 810 points collected the dressage champion Adrenalin Firfod with a 10 for character and an 8 for trot, canter and the ability as a dressage horse.
In total four dressage and two jumping stallions did the test. Behind Adrenalin Firfod the KWPN products Erlando (s. Jazz, picture) and Edelman (s. Vivaldi) followed. Both are owned by Blue Hors. Erlando, in 2012 with 150.000 euro the most expensive stallion in the KWPN Select Sale, received 800,5 points. Edelman, in 2009 for 42.000 euro sold at the foal auction in Borculo, The Netherlands, collected 780,5 points.
The most expensive stallion in the test was De L'Or (s. Dancier). He was sold for 315.000 euro at the stallion licensing in Hannover in 2011. The buyers were Kirsten Andresen and the Katrinelund stud. With a total of 772 points he was the dressage stallion with the lowest points.
The sixth stallion that passed the test was the jumper L'Etoile Z (s. L’Arc de Triomphe) with 756 points, owned by Tailormade Horses stud. The only stallion that didn’t finish the test was the United-son Unique, also owned by Tailormade.
