Hans-Dieter Dreher and Magnus Romeo won the Rolex FEI World Cup in Bordeaux.
From the 35 riders, only eight classified for the jump-off. After that, it was a race against the clock for the fastest time in the course designed by Uliano Vezzani.
French rider Pénélope Leprevost and her mare Nayana cleared the jump-off and took third place with a time of 34.92 seconds. Second place went to Swiss rider Henrik von Eckermann and Gotha FRH with a quick, no faults course of 34.77 seconds. Hans-Dieter Dreher took home his first World Cup win in Bordeaux with a magnificent clear round of 34.25 seconds with stallion Magnus Romeo.
Hans-Dieter’s win gave him a spot at the Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping 2012/2013. He comments, “This will be my first time to make it to the Final, so I’m very happy about that, and my horse is in super form!” Dreher said.
