Rosarius champion at Austrian Stallion Show

Feb 11, 2013

It wasn’t a surprise that the five year old Rosarius (s. Rhaposario) deserved the champion ribbon at the Austrian Stallion Show. The last two years, he performed remarkable in ridden classes. In 2011 this dark bay stallion was ‘bundeschampion’ in Austria. At the age of four he was ‘vicebundeschampion’ and in 2012 he was third of the four and five year old horses. In his performance test he scored 8,05.

Like Rosarius, the reserve-champion Leon d'Or is a five year old Hannovarian as well. This chestnut did his performance test in Marbach. Twelve stallions were approved, including Canaster I, and the international show-jumper Urban, which is bred in Belgium.

Out of 22 three and four year old stallions at the stallion show, 16 were appointed to do the performance test. three of them got a special recommendation because of their quality: Cortese (s.Chico’s Boy), David (s.Davignon II) and Derano (s. Don Primus).
