Nicola Philippaerts off to good start in Al Ain

Belgian show-jumper Nicola Philippaerts and his mount Vadetta van het Mettenhof had a good start yesterday at the CSIO5* in Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. In the 1.50 m speedclass the couple rushed to first position and secured a starting place in the Grand Prix on Saturday.

Winner of the 1.45 m earlier yesterday was Egyptian Karim El Zoghby and his 12 year old KWPN horse Dunoair Urona (s. Phin Phin).
