The three star Grand Prix at the Sunshine Tour went to Manuel Fernández and Bonaire (Baloubet du Rouet x Carthago). The home rider had one of only two double clear rounds in the class, and was 0.21 seconds faster than British rider Simon Crippen on Ondine du Logis (Hurlevent de Breka x Super de Bourriere). Third was French rider Michel Hecart aboard the Dollar de la Pierre-son Pasha du Gue. The pair had four faults in the jump-off, but the fastest time of the day.
